Communications via Social Media
If you follow us on Twitter, you can potentially receive several tweets a day. If you follow us on LinkedIn, you can expect several updates a week.
Our tweets, posts and updates may include a wide variety of information about our work including media releases, recruitment information, promotion of our services, consumer information, some complaint decisions, and retweets.
We may follow organisations and individuals on Twitter who are relevant to the us. We will not usually follow individuals; however, we may do so temporarily to allow direct messages.
We will attempt to answer your questions; however, we can’t enter into political discussions or discuss specific cases or complaints. Where we have published a decision about a specific case or complaint, we will provide a link to information published in REAA's decisions database.

Like all users, we sometimes use #hashtags. We may retweet, @mention, or post information by other Twitter users for the interest and information of our followers. Please refer to our Disclaimer and Copyright terms regarding your use of such third party content.
Our social media accounts are monitored. We normally monitor our accounts between 8.30am – 5pm on working days, but may choose to monitor our account more regularly at times.
